Dr. Daniel Heffernan and Beverly Heffernan - Founders of Hope Clinic

A LEGACY OF HOPE

In 1982, Dr. Daniel Heffernan felt called by God to serve those in need of medical care in Ypsilanti, MI.  The Hope Clinic has grown from Dr. Dan with just his doctor’s bag in the back of his car, to a haven of help and healing serving thousands of people every year.

Beverly Heffernan assisted her husband in establishing Hope Medical Clinic.  She helped organize services, wrote articles, coordinated volunteers, and decorated the facilities. Beverly enjoyed using her considerable artistic and organizational skills to serve the clinic’s mission.

Sadly, Beverly passed away in February 2017 and Dr. Dan passed away in October 2018.  Their strong faith and commitment to joyfully serving others lives on through the ministry of Hope Clinic.
