New Building
Hope Center is operating out of our new, expanded building at 518 Harriet Street.
In addition to providing medical and dental care to uninsured children and adults, Hope Clinic has a number of social service programs that help address emergency and basic needs. Yearly at Hope:
- We serve over 9,000 hot meals
- Over 14,000 bags of emergency groceries are provided
- About 180 individuals and families receive financial assistance
- Over 200 households wash and dry nearly 5,000 loads of laundry
- Over 250 families receive Thanksgiving meals
- Over 16,000 non-food personal items are given out of our Care and Share Closet
- Download our brochure here.
These programs are a critical part of Hope's mission to "minister to the whole person". However, they are open to all who need the services and are not limited to medical and dental clinic patients.
Hope Clinic's Food Programs include:
- Food Bank - provides emergency food to families in need
- Weekend Meal Program - serves hot meals to the hungry and homeless every Saturday and Sunday.
Hope Clinic's Basic and Emergency Needs Programs include:
- Wash With Care Program -provides a place for low income individuals and families to do their laundry at no charge.
- Care and Share Closet - provides basic necessities such as personal care items, household cleaning supplies, and household goods.
- Financial Assistance Program - provides limited financial help for prescription co-pays, transportation to medical appointments or help with other emergency financial needs.
- Baby Aid - provides emergency diapers and formula as available.
