Instructions for Requesting Financial Assistance
Follow these steps to apply for financial aid from Hope Clinic:
- FIRST, apply at the Department of Human Services for emergency assistance. If DHS can't pay the whole ammount, ask for a Decision Letter. You will need the Decision Letter at all the other agencies. 734-481-2000
- SECOND, after receiving your Decision Letter, apply to other agencies:

- Friends In Deed:
734-484-4357, Tuesday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. to noon, telephone calls only: No Walk-Ins!
- THIRD, check with your church or other organizations you belong to, to see if they can help.
- FINALLY, come to the Hope Center, 518 Harriet St., Ypsilanti, and fill out a Financial Aid Request Form. Bring your ID, Decision Letter(s) from other agencies, and your shutoff notice.
