YPSI! It’s time to share your story!
On the Ground Ypsi Community Newsroom is coming to Hope Clinic in October.
Through November 15th, every Wednesday from 10am-1pm Ypsilanti community members are invited to join “On The Ground Ypsi” (#OTGYpsi) at various locations throughout the city to share their story about what’s going on in their neighborhood and their city.
The Community Open Newsroom for the month of October will be at Hope Clinic, 518 Harriet St, Ypsilanti, MI
Of particular interest are topics surrounding:
– Arts and Culture
– Community Development
– Economic Development
– Healthy Communities
– Kids and Education
– Technology and Innovation

ABOUT ON THE GROUND
“On The Ground”, a program of Concentrate, aims to dive deep into a changing city or neighborhood, profiling the people, places, and businesses that contribute to its vitality. Brianna Kelly is the embedded reporter for On the Ground Ypsi and an Ypsilanti resident.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A journalist is embedded into our community for a period of five months, focusing weekly coverage on the community and bringing a space to life with meetings & events, and creating a temporary media hub.
On The Ground Ypsi will be embedded in the City of Ypsilanti from August 2 – November 29.
